E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for acquiring items, writing descriptions, taking photos, uploading pictures to computer & online marketplaces such as ShopGoodwill, eBay, and Amazon, answering customer questions, providing excellent customer service, and tracking online merchandise. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

E-Books Accept donated books from various areas such as the recycling center and retail stores for scanning. Scan books to be listed online using applicable software used for book processing and appropriately accept and reject books for online sites. Specialty Items/Jewelry Recognize brand stamps (i.e., high end, vintage, and trendy). Operate jewelry testing equipment such as the Gem tester and Niton Analyzer. Upload images using Neatoscan and other programs. Gather information on items from other sites. Online Auctions Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of antiques and salable merchandise. Produce accurate descriptions of items for online auction sites. Upload pictures and descriptions to auction sites as directed. Process goods for online sale. Meet daily goals while maintaining quality standards. Shelve/place items appropriately, track inventory, and pull sold items. Count, log, and read accurately. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Answer customer questions and follow-up on complaints. Communicate customer issues with Management promptly. Work independently in an organized environment. Operate computer software for online listings. Return store merchandise not accepted for sale. Take clear, detailed photos showing small details. Package and ship items timely, tracking packages via shipping systems. Adhere to Goodwill Values: Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Stewardship, Learning, Teamwork, Entrepreneurial Spirit. Education, Training, and Experience: Intermediate reading, writing, and math skills. Proficient keyboarding and computer skills. Attention to detail. Knowledge of Amazon, eBay, and auction platforms. Knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and synthetics is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is necessary. Photography experience is a plus. Physical Requirements

Good communication skills and normal hearing. Visual acuity, depth perception, color vision, and ability to perceive size and detail. Ability to move safely and be ambulatory. Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, 25 lbs frequently; push/pull up to 800 lbs with equipment. Bilateral hand use for manipulation and typing. Full range of motion, ability to reach, bend, squat, twist, kneel. Mental Requirements
