Verify patient identity using appropriate identifiers and confirm physician orders for procedures. Measure the patient's head and attach electrodes following the 10/20 international electrode placement system, as observed by the manager. Test electrode functionality and ensure impedance is acceptable. Obtain comprehensive patient history, including medications, seizure history, family history, and event descriptions from patients, caregivers, or physicians. Safely remove electrolyte/gel/collodian from the scalp, clean thoroughly, and log all charges immediately after studies. Use infection control measures for electrode and accessory cleaning, confirmed by equipment inspection. Prepare and provide accurate technical reports for physicians. Perform bio-calibration before and after EEG studies, record montages according to policy, and perform activation procedures as directed. Transfer studies via network, verify transfer, and log charges promptly. Ensure data integrity and security throughout the process. Measure scalp and electrode sites accurately, apply electrodes for VEP, BAER, SSEP, and ATC tests, ensuring impedance under 3 K-Ohms. Obtain clear waveforms and additional sampling if needed. Superimpose waveforms, measure peaks, and document latencies. Complete all prerequisite procedures, including visual and auditory assessments, prior to testing. Ensure proper cleaning of electrodes and recording apparatus after procedures, and educate patients on adhesive removal. Archive studies securely and maintain logs of admissions and charges. Perform specialized EEG and Evoked Potential procedures as directed, ensuring proper electrode placement and testing parameters. Conduct Transcranial Doppler, nerve conduction, and autonomic nervous system studies accurately, preparing reports and assisting physicians as needed. Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred. Experience in EEG and neurodiagnostic specialties such as EP, NCV, CNIM, LTM, or equivalent. Current AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider certification. Basic computer skills. Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Frequent: Sitting, Push/Pull, Fine motor activities, Keyboard use. Occasional: Standing, Walking, Climbing, Carrying, Twisting, Bending, Reaching, Squatting/Kneeling, Wrist deviations. Continuous: Talking, Hearing. Lifting: Floor to waist 15 lbs., Waist level and above 10 lbs. Sensory: Near and far vision, color discrimination, depth perception, hearing.
