School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Chicopee, Massachusetts
A full-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) with CF/CCC credentials is needed to support elementary students in a school setting located in Chicopee, MA. This contract position offers a consistent 35‑hour work week throughout the school year, providing vital speech and language services to young learners.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary‑aged students.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
Maintain accurate documentation and reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
Participate in meetings such as IEP planning and progress reviews as required.
Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility for Certificate of Clinical Fellowship (CF).
Experience providing speech‑language services in an elementary school environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of childhood speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently.
