Director of Cybersecurity Architecture, Engineering, and Network Security
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to oversee and innovate all aspects of global cybersecurity architecture for a leading furniture manufacturer. In this role, you will architect and implement comprehensive security frameworks across cloud, network, data, operational technology, manufacturing, and AI environments, ensuring the protection of our worldwide operations. Key Contributions Direct the full lifecycle of security architecture: from strategy and roadmap development to hands?on design, technical implementation, and ongoing optimization across all technology platforms. Own and enforce security architecture standards, design patterns, and guidance for every technology domaincloud, infrastructure, network, endpoint, application, AI, and OT environments. Lead the evaluation, deployment, and integration of cutting?edge security technologies for Zero Trust, cloud, network, data, and AI/ML protection. Guide technical teams globally and be deeply involved in technical solutioning, threat modeling, and architecture reviews. Collaborate across IT, engineering, DevSecOps, operations, and business leaders to embed security by design everywhere. Oversee alignment with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements for all cybersecurity architecture.
Who Were Looking For
12+ years of progressive experience in hands?on cybersecurity architecture or engineering, including direct Zero Trust implementation across large, global enterprises. Track record architecting security for all technology domainscloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), network, endpoint, OT, manufacturing, and AI/ML platforms. Deep current expertise with security technologies: micro?segmentation, cloud security, infrastructure?as?code, identity and access management, data protection, threat modeling, and secure SDLC. Experience leading global, cross?functional security teams and communicating complex architectures to both technical staff and business executives. Advanced technical certifications (CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, etc.) and a bachelors (masters preferred) degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering or a related discipline. Excellent technical, problem?solving, and communication skills with a passion for driving security innovation at scale.
