Base pay range $78,000.00/yr - $94,000.00/yr
Serves as Quality Engineer on Karman Space & Defense projects throughout design, development, testing, qualification, and production. Supports the Quality Director in QMS management. Reports to the Quality Director.

What You Will Do
Determine and execute quality plan for system projects through development and production.
Implement new quality inspection methodologies as required.
Support customer design review activities.
Perform in-process inspections during fabrication and assembly, including AS9102 First Articles.
Prepare Technical Data Packages (TDPs) documenting hardware deliverables.
Review Purchase Orders for accuracy, including proper contractual, project, and quality flowdowns.
Generate and resolve Corrective Action Reports (CAR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
Lead failure investigations.
Perform supply chain risk analysis.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Associate’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.
