Job Responsibilities:
Ability to read and follow assembly Drawings, Build Books, and some schematics
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Soldering – Thru Hole, Jumper Wires
Harness Assembly – layout and dressing of wires to drawing or in accordance with cable layout form as required
Fiber Cables – Handling and Cleaning
Cable Termination – Use of various Terminals, Mil‑Spec Pins, Sockets, and Connectors
Use and maintenance of typical Hand Tools
Proper application and handling of adhesives
Maintain inventory of product in workstations
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Assist in providing input and development of build book guides
Mechanical Assembly
Maintain a clean and safe work area
J-STD-Certification is required
Physical Demands and Abilities:
Regularly lift 30-50 pounds
Proficient manual dexterity to assemble pieces together quickly and accurately using the appropriate tooling
Visual acuity sufficient for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus on the assembly task at hand
Regularly perform repetitive tasks
Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
1-2 years electro‑mechanical assembly or related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Able to troubleshoot and problem solve in a dynamic work environment with professionalism and a positive work ethic
Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, at a high level with attention to detail
Demonstrate conceptual and logical reasoning abilities in problem solving
High attention to detail and self‑motivation skills
Related technical or vocational training or certification experience highly desirable
