Base pay range $30.73/hr - $45.00/hr
Description Responsible for operating CT scanners to obtain diagnostic images of specified body parts as requested. The technologist must produce quality images for radiologist interpretation and function independently with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities
Greet patients by introducing yourself and confirming their name and birthdate.
Collect pertinent patient history and review procedure orders, documentation, current medications, allergy information, and completed questionnaires.
Explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions to ensure understanding.
Anticipate patient needs, keep patients and families informed of delays, and respond appropriately to concerns.
Communicate professionally with all customers, coworkers, physicians, and their office staff, respecting differences.
Adhere to all hospital/Imaging Center policies and core values, striving to exceed expectations.
Position patients, scan, and archive procedures according to established protocols, ensuring diagnostic images meet quality control parameters.
Utilize proper venipuncture techniques for contrast media administration as necessary and administer contrast media according to established protocols or physician directives.
Properly identify, prepare, administer, and document various medications used during procedures.
Reconcile patient medications to ensure no interactions with contrast media.
Complete all work in a timely, efficient, and productive manner.
Assist coworkers in other modalities as appropriate, including starting IVs and preparing patients.
Assist physicians with invasive procedures as applicable.
Verify physician orders for accuracy and act accordingly.
Utilize appropriate radiation-reducing techniques to maintain high‑quality images.
Protect patients, self, and others from radiation exposure, wearing and storing dosimeters properly and switching them out monthly.
Use appropriate devices for moving patients to ensure safety for both the patient and self.
Observe patients and assist as necessary to minimize risks of falls or other injuries.
Skills Required Skills & Experience
Knowledge of medical terminology, isolation, and sterile techniques/procedures.
Proficiency in patient positioning and equipment operation (x‑ray machines and printers).
Preferred Skills & Experience
Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
Education Required Education
Graduation from an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology school.
Required Certifications & Licensure
ARRT certification.
Ohio License as Radiographer.
BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
Seniority level Mid‑Senior level
