Bocar US is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Technician to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL. This role is essential to the setup, operation, and maintenance of precision tooling and production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the daily/monthly production planning schedule, shipping & receiving, warehouse management, local/plant specific purchasing, and inventory control functions. This position will lead and coordinate all supply chain functions for the Plant while partnering and closing with the corporate supply chain functions to develop and implement consistent best practices across the network.
Responsibilities
Fulfillment of customer logistics requirements in the plant (e.g., delivery service, information quality)
Managing the high performance of operational logistics (material and information flow) in the plants
Fulfillment of logistics targets
Lead the successful launch of new projects in terms of logistics issues within PCP
Managing the just-in-time supply of the production with packaging material, raw material, WIP and components (incl. ECR)
Lead the efficient and effective management of incoming, warehouse and distribution logistics
Manage efficient and stable production planning and controlling
Manage the plant’s compliance to group logistics standards
Development of logistics team’s skills
Continuous optimization of logistics processes and costs
Ensure application of defined logistics standards, and report deviations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
Minimum of 15 years of Supply Chain and/or Logistics experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry preferred
5 years of related experience with SAP transactions
Demonstrated knowledge of tax, import/export and regulations for international trade and business
Working knowledge of hazard materials (HAZMAT) storage and communication plans
Experience building relationships
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual language skills are a plus
