Base pay range $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr
Overview The Expense Management and Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for effectively managing external spend across the enterprise while continuously identifying opportunities to drive cost efficiencies, innovation, and risk management. This role focuses specifically on IT and technology vendor sourcing, encompassing hardware, software, cloud, consulting, and cybersecurity services.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing technology vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and using analytics tools such as Power BI to provide spend transparency. Prior consulting experience (Big 4 or similar) and exposure to large, complex enterprises is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage sourcing and procurement activities across IT categories, including:
Hardware (servers, storage, networking, laptops, phones)
Software licenses and SaaS
Consulting and cybersecurity vendors
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and technology vendors to ensure alignment on business needs, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.
Conduct spend and supplier analyses to identify savings opportunities and develop sourcing strategies.
Lead and support contract negotiations and bid evaluations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and business objectives.
Present executive‑level summaries and recommendations using PowerPoint and Power BI dashboards.
Support the Coupa requisition review and approval process, supplier onboarding, and contract tagging activities.
Participate in cross‑functional projects involving Finance, Legal, Technology, and Market Data.
Contribute to the development of sourcing frameworks and operational process improvements to enhance efficiency and governance.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
3–5 years in procurement, sourcing, or expense management, preferably within a large enterprise or consulting environment.
Technology sourcing experience:
Demonstrated experience in technology sourcing—hardware, software, cloud, and IT services.
Analytical skills:
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with hands‑on experience using Power BI or equivalent tools.
Communication skills:
Proven communication skills, including preparing presentations for senior management.
Systems familiarity:
Familiarity with Coupa or other procurement systems preferred.
Stakeholder management:
Strong stakeholder management and vendor negotiation skills.
Multitasking:
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
