SENIOR MARINE ENGINEER (M/F) - Paris & Hamburg

Join EP2C as a Senior Marine Engineer for a 12‑month contract with potential renewal. The role is based in Paris, France, with regular travel to Hamburg, Germany, and is a residential position with no rotation scheme. Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise on all marine‑related aspects during Construction, Transport & Installation (T&I), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) phases Define marine operational requirements, vessel specifications, and port logistics Act as focal point between internal teams, contractors, and marine authorities Support Call for Tender (CFT) processes: prepare technical specs, evaluate vessel capabilities, review bidders’ procedures, and ensure regulatory compliance Develop and maintain the Marine Coordination Plan and supervise setup of the Marine Coordination Center (MCC) Oversee vessel mobilization, performance monitoring, and compliance with charter party agreements Coordinate marine logistics and port services (waste management, bunkering, vessel tracking, etc.) Liaise with Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) and ensure adherence to IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and local regulations Support engineering and delivery of new or converted O&M vessels Contribute to the development and implementation of marine HSE procedures, Emergency Response Plans, and safety training programs Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure all marine operations meet HSE and regulatory standards Tools

Microsoft Office 365 environment and SharePoint NEW PRODOM for document and interface management (EDMS and Interface Management Tool) GIS tools related to geotechnical data E‑sourcing, ERP, AGORA (or equivalent) for contract and procurement processes Applicable general specifications, guides, and manuals Other tools commonly used in the project environment Technical Requirements

Hold or have held a Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer certification (unlimited tonnage/power) or a degree in Marine Engineering – Expert level Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years as Master or Chief Engineer on complex offshore support vessels (e.g., diving support or construction vessels) Proven experience in the Offshore Wind industry (minimum 5 years), including installation and commissioning phases Experience with Transport & Installation (T&I) and chartering contract types Knowledge of Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems and marine coordination software Strong knowledge of offshore vessel types (e.g., CLV, CTVs, SOVs, jack‑ups, cable‑layers) Familiarity with offshore construction methodologies and marine logistics Ability to work closely with various stakeholders, including international teams, vendors, subcontractors, and affiliates Excellent organizational and communication skills Fluency in English required; knowledge of French or German is an advantage Interested in this position?
