What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct payer coverage analyses for oncology and non-oncology clinical research protocols
Review trial-related documents to identify billable items and services for clinical research projects
Collaborate with study teams to ensure billing compliance and address any concerns identified during analysis
Assist in building clinical research studies into the Clinical Research Management System (CRMS)
Provide training and mentorship to staff on best practices for payer coverage analysis
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Experience conducting Medicare coverage analyses for clinical research studies
Knowledge of billing guidelines and regulations, including Medicare’s Clinical Trial Policy
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
ACRP or SoCRA certification
Clinical background (e.g., RN, LPN, EMT‑P, RT, Pharmacist, etc.)
Previous experience in clinical research study coordination
Familiarity with research compliance and regulatory requirements
