We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care, and medical documentation, as well as proficiency in various dental software systems. Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine oral health needs and develop treatment plans. Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and aftercare. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices through continuous education. Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry and familiarity with related procedures is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Ability to perform root canal therapy and other advanced dental procedures. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.
