Research Reagent Sales Specialist, Flow Cytometry at BD. Focus on acquiring new customers, developing early-stage accounts, and expanding BD’s flow cytometry reagent portfolio across Biotech, Academic, CRO, and Pharma sectors. Responsibilities

Territory Management & Growth: Drive revenue growth and manage a defined sales budget within the assigned territory; identify and acquire new customers; nurture early-stage accounts; expand flow cytometry reagent reach into Pharma, Biotech, CROs, and incubators; convert competitive business to increase BD’s footprint. Sales Execution & Forecasting: Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets by increasing product usage and customer base; utilize business analytics tools for decision-making; manage territory activities in Salesforce.com, including contact management, pricing, and quotation requests; maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities; expected field presence 3–4 days per week. Customer & Distributor Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners; deliver consultative support aligning BD solutions with customer research needs. Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust short- and long-term sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue; identify opportunities and position BD’s reagent portfolio to meet evolving customer demands. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with BD Biosciences teams across Sales, Service, and Applications Support; share insights and collaborate on territory strategies; perform related tasks as needed to support business objectives and team success. Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Biology or related Life Sciences field); laboratory experience in flow cytometry; valid driver’s license; ability to travel at least 50% of the time; strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational and planning abilities; proven selling and negotiation skills. Strongly Preferred: Familiarity with Life Science Research and Pharma/Biotech/Academic accounts; sales or customer service experience; flow cytometry knowledge and hands-on experience; ability to thrive in a dynamic environment; familiarity working with distribution partners; problem-solving and decision-making capabilities; proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com, and Power BI. Work Environment & Requirements
