$80.00/hr - $87.00/hr Optomi, in partnership with a leader within the entertainment and media industry, is looking for a Project Manager/Scrum Master to work a hybrid role! We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Scrum Master to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, conduct retrospectives, and ensure that our agile delivery methods are followed to the letter. The scrum master will also be working closely with the product team and adjacent teams to maintain seamless coordination and communication. Responsibilities

This role is crucial for managing our product backlog, prioritizing tasks, conducting retrospectives, and ensuring that our agile delivery methods are followed to the letter. The scrum master will also be working closely with the product team and adjacent teams to maintain seamless coordination and communication. We are looking for a candidate with strong agile skills and experience with JIRA, who is capable of managing complex projects. While certifications are preferred, they are not a critical requirement for this role. The ideal candidate should also have the ability to lead stand-ups, quarterly planning, sprint grooming, and effectively report on velocity and blockers. This role is expected to last between one to two years, with a focus on VMO-related projects. The scrum master will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects run smoothly and meet our goals efficiently.

Experience

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or related project management role. Experience with large, matrixed organizations. Proven track record of successfully supporting Agile teams in a corporate function (Sourcing, Finance, Operations, etc.). In-depth experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching teams in Agile principles. Strong skills in collaboration, conflict resolution, and servant leadership. Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Azure DevOps). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) required.
