Amazon Robotics operates from the greater Boston and Seattle areas, the epicenters of robotics innovation. Our diverse teams design, test, and build a dynamic fleet of robots, mechatronic systems, and pack automation solutions. Current advancements include autonomous movement, mobility, AI, machine learning, manipulation, simulation, robotic management software, and predictive analytics.
The Amazon Robotics Supply Chain provides strategic sourcing for robotic technologies and ensures delivery of new products by securing the right suppliers, technologies, and materials at the right cost and time to support our global fulfillment and transportation network. It is a fast‑paced operation that drives data‑driven decisions across Amazon.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional supply chain teams dedicated to supplier and supply chain design, sourcing, logistics decisions, and execution for robotics products from concept through scaled deployment.
Act as the single point of contact for program resources (leadership and teams) to communicate supply chain decisions and progress, provide feedback on implications, and support financial planning and capital approvals.
Work with Robotics leadership to ensure partnership across supply chain, hardware engineering, operations, and program teams on commodity and supplier selection, cost performance trade‑off analysis, and rapid product development stages.
Define and approve the product‑level supply chain strategy (SSR), including critical components, suppliers, cost road‑map, capacity plan, sourcing, and tooling requirements, and risk mitigation.
Develop negotiation strategies for categories impacting the product to achieve business objectives and sustain relationships with strategic suppliers.
Manage overall supplier relationships, performance, capability development, capacity planning, contracting, and cost and quality improvements; develop roadmap to achieve NPI and GA cost targets.
Ensure non‑cost goals (sustainability, supplier development, cost savings) are met and supported by the product‑specific supply chain strategy.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership at the organizational level.
Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
Experience negotiating and executing complex legal agreements.
5+ years of high‑volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
5+ years of direct experience in supplier/supply chain management.
Experience in global supply chain, commercial/vendor management, and technical product development.
Experience working with technical teams (hardware engineering, applied science) on new product development.
Knowledge of basic supply agreement construction and key contracting provisions.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Working knowledge of robotics, semiconductors, consumer electronics, electric vehicles, or similar industries.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
