Job Overview Assistant or Associate Professor (open rank) – full‑time, 12‑month regular title series, tenure‑eligible. Start date no later than July 1 2026, with earlier start possible. Position is on‑site and based in Lexington, KY.

The College of Nursing invites exceptional candidates to join faculty using innovative approaches to address important and challenging problems in all aspects of nursing science. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of grantsmanship, productivity in health‑related research, commitment to education, and collaborative research and scholarship. The candidate may teach at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels, actively participate in service to the university and the profession, and promote a collegial environment. The position is supported by research start‑up funds negotiable for this Regular Title Series faculty role.

Series: Regular Title Series (full‑time, 12‑month)

Tenure Track: Yes

Location: Lexington, KY

Start Date: No later than July 1 2026 (earlier possible)

Eligibility & Requirements

A PhD in nursing is preferred or a PhD in an associated field with a master’s degree in nursing.

Active Kentucky license as a registered nurse, or eligibility to obtain one.

Record of collaborative extramural funded research and scholarship.

Experience as an educator and a track record of service to the nursing profession commensurate with appointment as an assistant or associate professor.
