Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary Maintenance Engineer – responsible for ensuring the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are fully functional and safe.
What You Will Do
Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to keep hotel facilities at a high standard.
Diagnose and address maintenance issues efficiently to minimize downtime and guest disruption.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments to resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Respond to emergencies (power outages, plumbing, HVAC malfunctions).
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to prevent problems before they arise.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
Handle various tasks and projects, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Take ownership of responsibilities and strive for excellence in all tasks.

What We Are Looking For
Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing).
Engaging and welcoming personality.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull throughout the shift.
Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
