IT Operations Technician role at Epic. This position is based on Epic’s campus in Madison, WI, and relocation to the area is required with financial relocation assistance provided. Responsibilities
Monitor the Hosting infrastructure stack and respond swiftly to problems as part of Epic Hosting team. Employ investigative and troubleshooting skills across tools to identify and resolve routine and complex issues in network, hardware, virtualization, and presentation layers. Engage with contacts from healthcare organizations to address impact, communicate issues, and perform system builds. Qualifications
Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed). A history of academic and professional success. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, initiative, and leadership abilities. Available to work second or third shift hours. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. COVID-19 vaccination. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Internet networking protocols and tools (TCP/IP, ping, traceroute). Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Redhat, or CentOS). Certifications such as CompTIA+, CCNA, Network+, or Linux+. Knowledge of VMware. Job details
