A Cloud Architect position focused on AWS migration, transitioning infrastructure from virtual machine environments to scalable cloud architectures. As a Cloud Architect specializing in AWS migration, you will help multiple teams modernize their infrastructure by transitioning from traditional virtual machine environments to scalable, secure cloud architectures. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's cloud strategy, designing and evaluating implementation options that balance performance, cost, complexity, and compliance. This role involves close collaboration with development teams, DevOps engineers, and customer stakeholders to ensure that cloud solutions are both technically sound and mission-aligned. You will bring deep technical expertise and a pragmatic approach to solving complex migration challenges. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll foster confidence, build alignment, and raise overall cloud fluency across the enterprise. Design and evaluate multiple AWS migration strategies for legacy and VM-based workloads. Location: Fort George G Meade, MD (On-Site/Office) Columbia, MD (On-Site/Office) Total compensation: $318,720/yr based on labor category.
