Job Posting: IT Support Specialist – Manufacturing Operations
Location:
Dearborn, MI (with travel between multiple manufacturing sites)
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled
IT Support Specialist
to join our team supporting manufacturing operations across several key facilities, including Dearborn Engine, Detroit Chassis, Construction Site Services, and Gate 4 Medical. These sites produce engines and chassis for a wide range of vehicles and support complex manufacturing operations.
This role offers a unique opportunity to apply IT expertise in a dynamic manufacturing environment while gaining hands-on experience in Assembly and Powertrain operations. You will be part of a global team responsible for supporting IT infrastructure and applications critical to vehicle, engine, and component production.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for plant floor applications and infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IT systems, networks, and hardware.
Support process improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing and error-proofing.
Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturing applications meet productivity goals.
Travel between multiple facilities as needed to support operations.

Ability to work in high-pressure production environments.
Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and shifting priorities.
