* Collaborates with IRN co-directors and research personnel to identify data needs, conducts exploratory data analysis and appropriate statistical models, develops dashboards and reports. Reviews, manages, and analyzes data from various sources (primary and secondary data, interviews, focus groups, websites, publications, etc.), identifies trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Ensures data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing best practices, automated data quality testing, and data governance policies.* Works closely with the Director, Data Management and Analytics, selects, configures and implements analytics solutions for the organization. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data analytics capabilities. Shares industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics.* Supports the Office of Research Affairs and IRNs by contributing to funding proposals, reports, presentations, manuscripts etc.* Performs other duties as assigned.* Normal office environment* Ability to travel to various on- and off-campus locations* Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline e.g., Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science. or Data Science.* Experience in public health research.* Experience developing or working with data pipelines, data warehouses, knowledge or APIs, or other platforms and tools adjacent to statistical data analysis and visualization.* Up to 22 days of vacation, 10 recognized holidays, and sick time.* Competitive health insurance packages with priority appointments and lower copays/coinsurance.* Take advantage of our free Metro transit U-Pass for eligible employees.* WashU provides eligible employees with a defined contribution (403(b)) Retirement Savings Plan, which combines employee contributions and university contributions starting at 7%.* WashU covers the cost of tuition for you and your family, including dependent undergraduate-level college tuition up to 100% at WashU and 40% elsewhere after seven years with us.Yes.
