Help Desk Specialist seeking a long-term role with a small company focused on Help Desk, Break/Fix, and Desktop Support. The role emphasizes delivering excellent IT support to a high-volume user base and expanding knowledge in areas such as Azure and Office 365. What You Will Do Provide Tier 1 Help Desk support and desktop support as the primary point of contact for users Hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, conference room setups, and Zoom/Teams support Manage tickets in a ticketing system and address a high volume of tickets Hybrid Active Directory tasks: password resets, account unlocks, access management Support Office 365 apps and Active Directory Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of Tier 1 Help Desk experience Experience with Office 365 applications Solid hardware and software troubleshooting skills Experience with ticketing systems to track and resolve user issues Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) Familiarity with Citrix and Cisco networking equipment such as Meraki switches and firewalls
Preferred / Additional Skills
Experience with Citrix. Knowledge of Cisco Meraki switches and Cisco firewalls
Soft Skills
Problem-solver with a can-do attitude and patient demeanor Ability to make technology approachable for non-technical users
