Position Summary The E-Commerce Shipper is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping online orders accurately and efficiently. This role ensures all shipments meet quality and safety standards and are delivered to customers on time.
Key Responsibilities
Printing orders, pulling, preparing, and packaging items securely for shipment to prevent damage during transit.
Accurately label and process orders using shipping software and platforms (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS).
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Verify order details against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Monitor and restock shipping supplies as needed and communicate when supplies are low.
Communicate with team members regarding order status or issues.
Using pallet jack, hand trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport shipping materials.
Qualifications
Previous experience in shipping, packing, warehouse, or e-commerce fulfillment preferred.
Familiarity with shipping platforms (e.g., USPS, FedEx, UPS systems) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills for data entry and processing orders.
