Description
Seeking an installer capable of installing equipment into law enforcement, public works, and construction vehicles. A background in car audio, mobile radios, automotive lighting, automotive electronics, or automotive work is preferred. The install tech will assist with installing lights, sirens, cages, bumpers, K9 units, gun racks, in-car video systems, radars, computer docking stations, modems, and other equipment. This is typically a Monday-Friday, 8 to 5 job. Some overtime and travel may be required, but minimal. Successful candidates will be motivated to learn new products, maintain good attendance, and seek a full-time career with room for advancement. The individual should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Applicant should have experience with:
Automotive electronics Mobile radios Computers Part assembly 12-Volts systems 110-Volts systems Marine electronics Bluetooth Power tools Aftermarket automotive lighting Automotive assembly CB radios Licenses and Certifications
Valid Driver's License Clean Driving Record is required
(Major infractions are disqualifiers, e.g., DUI, drug-related offenses, hit & run, reckless driving, driving while suspended, passing a stopped school bus, involvement in a fatal accident, or 3 or more minor infractions within 3 years)
