This role will be a key part of the management of Wendy's daily cash flow activity for International markets and will prepare invoices, statements, monthly reconciliations, and cash application worksheets. This role will also support the International Finance, Legal, and Development teams by providing reporting, bad debt reserve analysis, and information on sales and payments received from franchisees.

Responsibilities

Play a key role in interacting with franchise organizations to answer questions, collect sales data, and analyze remittance information.

Perform monthly reconciliation of AR subledger accounts. Ensure all activity is posted timely to the general ledger and prepare any needed journal entries.

Research variances in payments received to ensure any discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

Assist with the preparation of reports, audit requests and other project work as needed.

Provide information to ensure that payments received are properly applied.

Facilitate monthly collections meetings and onboard new franchisees.

What we expect from you

Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

1-3 years of relevant Accounting experience required

Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to work effectively, meet the deadlines assigned, and make sound decisions with limited supervision

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite, advanced Excel user

Prior experience with Oracle

Expected Work Location (In Office) It is expected that you will primarily perform work at the Wendy's Restaurant Support Center (RSC) (1 Dave Thomas Blvd, Dublin, OH 43017), or at other location(s) as designated by the Company. You are required to work in the office at least 4 days a week. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.

The base pay range for this position is $52,000 - $88,000 Annually. The actual base salary offered will take into account internal equity, budget for the open position, and may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. The target annual bonus for this role is 7.5% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
