We are seeking a talented leader to supervise sheet‑metal crew work on residential HVAC projects.
Description Wage range: commensurate with experience + quarterly bonus. Sign‑on bonus: $5,000. Must hold a current Connecticut HVAC license of type: D1, D2, S1, S2, S10, P2, P1, SM2.

Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with technicians, project managers, clients/contractors, and installers to meet project goals.
Understand ductwork layout, read blueprints, and apply SMACNA standards.
Use knowledge of new construction and retrofit projects.
Order materials in advance or coordinate with purchasing.
Execute work independently and supervise multiple crews.
Proactively evaluate obstacles and propose solutions with the superintendent or builder.
Assist in scheduling projects and coordinating technician support to meet deadlines.
Attend team meetings as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
Current Connecticut trade license.
Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attendance and leadership skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
Knowledge of IECC energy codes and practices.
Eligibility Requirements
Employment/education will be verified.
Current authorization to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
Encon is a drug‑free workplace; post‑offer pre‑employment drug testing required.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Eligible to work weekends and nights as needed.
Physical Requirements
Able to work in a variety of extreme weather, hot and cold conditions.
Able to work safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, closets, and crawl spaces.
Able to work safely at elevated heights such as rooftops, ceilings, and ladders.
Able to bend, crawl, stoop, stretch, and reach.
Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
Able to lift 50 pounds safely.
