Bonita Springs . We are currently seeking a

Banquet Events Manager

to join our Catering Team.

This role is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group/banquet and event‑related opportunities with significant revenue potential. The manager actively upsells each business opportunity to maximize revenue. They achieve personal and team revenue goals, ensure business turnover is proper and timely for service delivery, drive customer/guest loyalty through service excellence, and grow accounts on behalf of the company.

Compensation Salary: starting at $60,000 plus commission.

Essential Functions

Book and coordinate a variety of events including weddings, anniversaries, baby showers, and other high‑end social banquets.

Target group/catering accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation.

Respond to incoming catering opportunities for the property.

Identify, qualify, and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.

Focus on catering accounts with significant potential sales revenue.

Develop effective catering sales plans and actions.

Design, develop, and sell creative catered events.

Maximize revenue by upselling packages and creative food and beverage offerings.

Analyze overall market—competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand— and sell against them.

Use negotiating skills to close business and negotiate contracts.

Handle complex business with significant revenue potential and significant customer expectations.

Develop relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for catering sales opportunities.

Execute exemplary customer service to drive guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Organize room bookings and meet sales/service support needs.

Make direct sales calls and blitzes while maintaining good relationships with existing clients.

Handle inquiry, quote rates, contract development, details of needs, food & beverage arrangements, AV requirements, staff communication on event day, posting of charges, presentation of bill, and follow‑up.

Plan, organize, and manage events inside the facility, monitor logistics, and conduct post‑event follow‑ups.

Conduct walk‑in site tours and pre‑meeting preparations.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Detail‑oriented, strong communicator at all levels, and problem‑solving with team members and guests.

Knowledge of food and beverage and the ability to discuss menu options.

Strong customer‑service orientation and skills.

Self‑motivated and results‑oriented.

Minimum of 4 years of catering sales management experience preferred.

Flexible schedule.
