One of our large defense clients corporate team is looking for a ITSI Splunk Specialist. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will work onsite in Tewksbury, MA, embedded with the service portfolio team. You will configure, implement, and optimize Cisco Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) to monitor the organizations service portfolio. Collaboration with internal service owners including those in CDS is essential to configure services within ITSI, generate reports, set up monitoring and alerting, and drive actionable insights. You will build, maintain, and monitor models of IT services, acting as a liaison between service owners and technical teams. Additionally, you will absorb technical knowledge from Cisco and translate it into actionable ITSI configurations and best practices. Serving as the primary point of contact for all ITSI-related monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting, you will also support the rollout of ITSI as a new capability, since no current team is using this module. Regular participation in meetings and knowledge transfer sessions will ensure continuous improvement of service monitoring. This role requires an active secret clearance. This is a newly created position to support a growing need for real-time service portfolio monitoring.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to absorb new information quickly, and comfortable acting as the subject matter expert for ITSI within the organization.
Compensation: $55-75/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Experience integrating ITSI with other ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management (JSM), ServiceNow, or Remedy. Prior work in a classified or defense environment. Experience with service portfolio monitoring in a large, matrixed organization. Familiarity with Cisco networking solutions and their integration with Splunk. Active Secret Clearance Hands-on experience with Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI), including configuration, monitoring, and reporting. Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) concepts and best practices. Experience working with network services and configuring monitoring solutions in a complex enterprise environment. Ability to operate independently within the ITSI tool and quickly learn new technical domains. Excellent communication skills for working with service owners and cross-functional teams.
