We are seeking an experienced Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have extensive QuickBooks Desktop experience. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing the financial health of our organization, overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing insightful reports to guide decision-making.
What you’ll do
Manage the full cycle of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Perform credit card reconciliations.
Process payroll and manage employee records with precision.
Conduct account analysis and prepare journal entries to reflect accurate financial transactions.
Manage vendor relationships and monitor outstanding balances.
Prepare internal financial reports for management review.
Work closely with management and CPA for year‑end reporting and tax preparation.
Assist with budget tracking and cost allocation (fleet, insurance, maintenance, etc.).
Qualifications
Extensive QuickBooks Desktop experience required (not QuickBooks Online).
Minimum 3–5 years of full‑cycle bookkeeping experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
Experience with payroll processing or coordination.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related office software.
Transportation, fleet, or service‑based business experience a plus.
Proficiency in double‑entry bookkeeping principles and practices.
