Job Description : The Division of Finance and Administration (DFA) is responsible for the planning, allocation and management of financial, human and administrative resources. The Business Management Analyst reports to the CFO, Director of DFA. The role provides timely analytical information, coordinated policy advice, liaison support to the CFO and Deputy Directors, technical support for enterprise risk and fraud risk management, and support to the Joint Inspection Unit.

Key Functions and Accountabilities :

Coordinate liaison support to the CFO and Deputy Directors in the strategic management of the Division.

Liaise closely with in‑house divisions, sections, field offices and key partners on workplans, commitments and deliverables.

Support the CFO and Deputy Directors at meetings, prepare materials, follow up on actions and corporate initiatives.

Provide support to internal and external audit exercises, consolidate audit responses.

Coordinate organizational reporting to intergovernmental bodies and interagency mechanisms.

Provide policy input and briefing materials for decision‑making and representation with staff and external partners.

Draft talking points and presentation materials for external forums.

Supervise an administrative support associate and coordinate administrative support for the CFO and Deputy Directors.

Coordinate DFA participation in the Business Innovations Group and other UN System Reform working groups.

Collect and analyze data related to UN Women’s participation in common services and efficiency agenda.

Support management of DFA’s risk register and risk validation reports.

Prepare risk management reports and draft presentations for senior management and oversight bodies.

Coordinate interactions with the Joint Inspection Unit and prepare related reporting, responses and donor communications.

Recruitment Qualifications :

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in business, public administration, international relations, political science, or related field; or a first‑level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience.

Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in management and administration within international or corporate organizations, preferably within the United Nations system.

Experience in drafting reports, analyzing data, procurement, budgeting, audit or risk management desirable.

Experience related to the UN System Reform efforts desirable.

Languages :

Fluency in English required.

Knowledge of a second official UN language (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish) desirable.
