Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Monroe, LA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for processing payroll for multiple companies, monthly reconciliations, update and enter new hire packets, and other payroll related tasks. Day-to-day tasks include processing payroll, assist with reconciling general ledger accounts, preparing quarterly tax returns, meet payroll payables deadlines and assisting Accounting Manager with as needed tasks. The Staff Accountant will also support accounts payable and receivable clerks in day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications
Proficiency in payroll processing, general ledger management, and payroll reporting
Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll management
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
