skumar at diasoftwaresolutions dot com . Job Description: The data administrator is required to possess comprehensive expertise in Oracle, AWS, and cloud-native architecture. This position is dedicated to modernizing legacy systems, implementing modular and scalable data solutions, and supporting HHSC transformation objectives. Responsibilities include optimizing database performance, maintaining secure deployments in the cloud, and facilitating collaboration among cross-functional teams to enable agile delivery and uphold architectural governance. Further, the data administrator plays a critical role in ensuring secure, accurate, and efficient management of data across both legacy and updated systems.
Required Skills:
8+ years in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing. Proficient in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning. Hands?on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) configuration and management. Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices. Proficient in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, and performance?optimized queries. Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard and high availability/disaster recovery strategies.
Familiarity with cloud?native database services and PaaS offerings. Experience in database backup, restore, and recovery operations using RMAN. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management, including cloud?based data storage options, security considerations, and deployment best practices. Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare. Ability to work in DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
Preferred Skills:
Experience transforming monolithic, on?premises data structures to microservice?aligned schemas. Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on?premise?to?cloud migration deployments and roadmaps. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non?technical audience. Fundamental understanding of Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization. Customer?focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization. Proactive leadership style; self?starter and strong attention to detail. Proven experience within an integrated eligibility case management system.
