System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly

Zachary Pipe is seeking a System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly in Reston, Virginia area. The System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly will support a government-focused technology organization in classified environments. The ideal candidate for the System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly role will have extensive experience designing, implementing, and securing scalable systems in compliance with federal standards. The System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly must hold an active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) and be a U.S. citizen as defined by 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM. The System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly position is onsite in a SCIF position in Reston, VA - 5 days a week onsite. Responsibilities for the System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly include: Architect and implement secure, scalable systems for U.S. Government classified environments Lead container orchestration efforts using Kubernetes Automate operating systems and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Terragrunt Administer and secure cloud environments, particularly AWS Ensure compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure deployments and system patching Requirements for the System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly include: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph Proven experience as a System Architect in classified environments Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services Expertise in Terraform, Terragrunt, or similar IaC tools Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SSCP) Must be eligible to work in the United States Compensation for the System Architect - TS/SCI CI Poly: $160,000-$190,000 annually Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave as required by law This job opens for applications on October 10th, 2025.
