Mid-Market Account Executive (West Coast)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, consulting, and closing managed services for healthcare organizations. This individual will manage both existing accounts and pursue new business opportunities within the mid‑market healthcare space—specifically targeting hospitals under 300 beds and organizations with annual revenue below $500 million.
Key Responsibilities
Actively prospect daily using multiple tools and techniques including LinkedIn, networking events, and direct outreach.
Build and maintain a strong professional network within the healthcare technology and cybersecurity markets.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue prospective clients through cold calling, email campaigns, social media, conference attendance, and other outreach strategies.
Engage with decision‑makers across healthcare providers, life sciences, and other HIPAA‑regulated organizations.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, to understand business needs and propose appropriate solutions.
Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, collaborating with internal teams such as Channel Sales, Solutions Architects, Operations, and RevOps to ensure seamless deal execution.
Manage RFP responses, contractual documentation, and pricing proposals in coordination with the internal operations team.
Consistently meet or exceed established sales goals, metrics, and quotas.
Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, forecasts, and deal progression using Salesforce and other sales automation tools.
Develop territory management strategies to ensure consistent growth and revenue achievement.
Qualifications Education & Experience
3-5+ years of B2B sales experience required; healthcare cybersecurity or IT services experience preferred.
Proven success selling through channel partners and directly to end users.
Demonstrated ability to engage with C‑suite executives (CIO, CISO) and senior decision‑makers within healthcare organizations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of sales best practices and consultative selling.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA), and healthcare IT environments.
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM.
Other Requirements
Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
