Accounting ClerkThe Accounting Clerk will provide essential support to the accounting team. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions, and assisting with month-end close activities. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $45K and $55K annually. Responsibilities

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor collections, and reconcile accounts receivable balances.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update ledgers as needed.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, reviewing account balances, and compiling necessary documentation.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account status.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain compliance with company standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
