Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting machine operators with the offloading of materials, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and rules, and manually moving buckets and vats of flavors. You will also assist with the mixing, blending, and compounding of products in an environment that features a variety of flavors such as vanilla, garlic, and fish oil. Additionally, you will perform various duties around the facility to support operations when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist machine operators with the offloading of materials.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and rules.
- Manually move buckets and vats of flavors.
- Assist with mixing, blending, and compounding of products.
- Perform various duties around the facility to support operations.
- Clean the facility and bowls after food production.
- Use a tablet for documentation and work orders.
- Lift 50+ lbs consistently.
- Help in various areas as needed.
Essential Skills
- Experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
- Proficiency in mixing, production, and material handling.
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations.
- Ability to read documentation and work orders.
- Comfortable with lifting heavy materials and working in a fragrance-rich environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with blending and following recipes.
- Comfortable using a tablet.
- Ability to use a beard mask or maintain no facial hair.

Work Environment
You will work in a flavor and fragrances environment on the 3rd shift from 10:00pm-6:30am, with potential for extended hours during high production periods. The position requires availability during the person and weekends as needed. All necessary PPE will be provided, although the presence of strong smells is inherent to the work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cerritos, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
