Phlebotomist – We Train
We seek a dedicated phlebotomist who will ensure our donors receive the best care and stay comfortable throughout their donation process.
Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
- Establish rapport with donors to ensure overall customer happiness while ensuring donor confidentiality.
- Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
- Monitor donor and equipment to ensure health of donors and quality of product.
- Set up, disconnect, and operate the automated plasmapheresis machines.
- Disconnect and dispose of all contaminated disposable equipment.
Occupational Demands (Form #74)
Work is performed in a plasma center. Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms, exposure to electrical office and laboratory equipment, and exposure to extreme cold below 32°F while working in a plasma freezer. Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear. Work is performed standing for 6 to 8 hours per day, bending and twisting neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day, with frequent hand movements, precise coordinated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists, and frequent foot movement. Light lifting of 15 lbs, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs. Ability to reach below shoulder height, good hearing acuity, and color perception/discrimination. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and perform within the guidance of both oral or written instructions.
