Janitor (PT) – HOAMCO (Sedona, AZ).
We are hiring two people for this part‑time position in Sedona. This position pays $20/hourly.
Summary
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitizing surfaces.
Responsibilities
- Clean and restock restrooms, break rooms and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and recycling bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify supervisor of inventory needs.
- Ensure entrances, hallways and work areas are free of hazards and clutter.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Lock and unlock buildings as needed for scheduled cleaning times.
- Report any security or safety issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
This position requires standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the shift. Work is performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions.
