Vice President of Development
to lead a bold new phase of philanthropic growth and community impact. Working within the nation’s second-largest public school system, the Partnership transforms historically underserved schools in Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, and Watts, becoming a national example of how traditional public schools can transform through community-rooted innovation. This position offers an opportunity to amplify one of Los Angeles’ most transformative educational partnerships, ensuring students and families in historically underresourced communities have access to joyful, high-quality learning. Key responsibilities
Design and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy that drives the 2025–2030 strategic plan. Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing Development Team, fostering a strong culture of philanthropy. Cultivate and solicit major and principal gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, advancing fundraising strategy and execution. Strengthen internal systems, data practices, and donor stewardship to ensure long-term financial resilience. Why The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools?

The salary for this role is $170,000-$210,000.
