Visit our website to learn more about our essential and distinctive beliefs. 5 Key Responsibilities: 1) Kids Ministry Staff Oversight (LMA: Lead, Manage & Accountability) Schedule and lead regular ministry meetings with team Shepherd and develop staff and key volunteers Steward the Kids Ministry budget and resources Set curriculum, calendar, and evaluation plan annually Align Kids Ministry path with The Chapel’s discipleship pathway. Create safe, fun, biblical, & relational environment for all families, including working closely with our special needs ministry director) for both Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers Provide appreciation and recognition broadly and individually Regular meetings in one-on-one or small group settings 4) Communication Regular communication with Chapel leadership and The Family Life Team Engage with Parents weekly and in one-on-one meetings as needed Share vision and shepherd volunteers through quarterly/annual updates Oversee planning teams for VBS, Harvest Festival (In cooperation with Executive Team), and other Kids’ events Coordinate with Preschool for outreach opportunities. Coordinate with FCA and other Kids’ outreach partnerships Qualifications: A deep love for God and others. A committed follower of Jesus Christ marked by integrity and authenticity Agreement with The Chapel’s mission, values, and essential and distinctive beliefs Proven leadership experience with staff and volunteers in a church or ministry context Strong organizational, relational, and communication skills Ability to develop leaders and multiply ministry through others Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent ministry experience) Regular Work Schedule:
Full-time, exempt (salaried) position. Mondays-Thursdays, Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings: 40-45 hours/week, 12 months) Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement contributions, paid time off, disability coverage, life insurance, and ministry development opportunities.
