$22.16 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do
Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to deter unauthorized access. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and directions within the facility. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to deter suspicious activities and report security-related concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols. Document and report all access control activities and incidents according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed to address security-related issues at the location. Minimum Requirements
Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
