U.S. Regional Deadline:
November 9, 2025. The Middle Room is accepting submissions from emerging to established contemporary Los Angeles area artists for our second‑annual LA‑made small works salon.
Artists practicing throughout the greater LA area are invited to submit their work for consideration by guest curator Camilla Taylor for inclusion in
The Middle Becomes Eclectic II , a large group exhibition of diverse small works made‑in‑LA in 2025, all priced $500 and under. This off‑beat exhibition supports community‑building, accessible art‑collecting and art‑gift‑giving during the holiday season and reflects the current pulse of LA art.
Submission Guidelines
All work must have been made in 2025.
All work must be 30” maximum in any direction.
All work must be ready to hang or install (works on paper must be framed).
Submit up to 5 small works in any medium, priced $500 or less, with a brief bio and statement and links to website and IG page.
Exhibition Dates December 5, 2025—January 11, 2026.
Curator Camilla Taylor
is recognized for monochromatic and intensely introspective works on paper and sculpture, reflecting internal lives and collective issues. Taylor co‑founded Los Angeles’ C. Feign Jr. Gallery and has curated exhibitions for Brandstater Gallery, Track 16 Gallery, Shoebox Projects, and others. They are represented by Track 16 in Los Angeles and Kanda & Oliveira in Tokyo, teach at Occidental College and UCLA, and live in Los Angeles.
Application Details Application fee:
$30. Acceptances announced November 14, 2025. All work must be for sale, priced $500 max, with artists receiving 50% of sold work.
