Supply Chain Role

Responsible for driving process and technology improvement for the Supply Chain organization, demonstrating a broad-based knowledge of all aspects of the sourcing and procurement process with a technology support focus. Leverage data and technology to drive process automation and deliver efficient business processes for Supply Chain to support lower business costs for Vistra. Ensure systems are operating optimally and in support of the needs of the business. Responsible for master data management across Supply Chain applications. Key Accountabilities: Ecommerce & Automation Efficiencies Drive Purchase Orders automation by onboarding suppliers to an e-commerce platform including setting up complex integrations and resolving integration challenges. Collaborate with strategic suppliers to setup procurement catalogs Data Governance and Quality Leverage Business Intelligence tools to conduct data analytics for supporting master data management across applications. Drives large-scale, complex projects and implements data governance best practices, including vendor data clean-up initiatives, to ensure data quality and compliance. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain vendor and item master data integrity across all systems including representing Supply Chain on data governance teams Manage Cyber Security controls & PII info for supply chain. Other Ability to build trust and relationships with internal business, Supply Chain leadership and Executives. In coordination with the business and IT, initiate, research, evaluate and recommend new technologies. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements: General business knowledge and acumen, with broad-based knowledge of sourcing, procurement, contracting, vendor management process all supported by data-driven approach. Technical knowledge of vendor master, e-commerce/e-sourcing/contracting platforms (Ariba, Coupa, SAP) Passion and expertise in data mining to deliver optimum business outcomes. Expertise in data governance, vendor clean-ups, standardization, and enablement across enterprise systems. Ability to adapt to complex Supply Chain issues where an analysis of statistical, commercial or technical data is required. Strong written and oral communication; ability to negotiate and persuade others. Advanced Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Key Metrics: Increase Ecommerce enabled vendors. Increase Catalogs enablement and usage. Minimize e-commerce transaction errors. Enablement of new technologies like tail spend management. Consistent and clean master data across applications.
