Scrum Master – Software Development Project

We are seeking a highly motivated
SCRUM Master
to lead agile software development activities and ensure effective team collaboration, delivery, and continuous improvement. The SCRUM Master will support a fast-paced development environment, driving the team to deliver high-quality solutions that align with project objectives and customer requirements.
Practice/Technical Manager leads experienced consulting teams and is responsible for the day-to-day implementation and operations aspects of the system for high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget. Develops detailed design of Partner IT capabilities which may involve integration with third party products and/or GOTS capabilities. This includes designing, implementing, testing, and deploying more complex extensions or configurations needed to address customer unique business processes and workflows. Works on substantive and unique issues that identifies risks and risk mitigations. Develops methods, techniques and evaluation criteria providing functional and technical experience on on-premise, cloud, and hybrid based solutions.
Responsibilities
Facilitate all SCRUM ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders
Maintain and administer Jira, ensuring all boards, sprints, and issues are accurately tracked and up to date
Remove impediments and proactively identify process improvements to maximize team efficiency
Support Product Owners in managing the product backlog and ensuring clear communication of priorities
Track and communicate key agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, sprint progress) to stakeholders
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability within the team
Ensure adherence to Agile principles and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, UX designers, and business analysts, to achieve sprint goals
Requirements
TS/SCI FSP Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience as a SCRUM Master supporting software development teams
Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM principles, practices, and frameworks
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and iterative software delivery preferred
Desired Skills
Experience in government or regulated environments
Technical background or familiarity with full-stack development
Knowledge of SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks
Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
