Locum opportunity for a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in Anaheim, CA with Aya Locums. Pay is $320/hour - $330/hour.
Overview Position: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: Critical Care Pediatric Start Date: 11-07-25 Length: 1 week
Schedule
Shift Coverage: Scheduled + No Call
Shift Schedule: Standard 3, 12-Hour 07:00 – 19:00

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Prename medications and manage chronic conditions.
Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with NP specialization (e.g., pediatrics)
Active and unencumbered APRN license in California
National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty (e.g., AANP)
Typically at least 1 year of clinical experience in the relevant specialty
Licenses & Certifications
Active California APRN license
National board certification as NP in a pediatric or relevant specialty
Experience
Most locum NP positions prefer candidates with prior clinical experience in a setting relevant to pediatric critical care.
