Activities Director
Join us at Tutera Senior Living and Health Care as an Activities Director. We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate professional passionate about engaging seniors in social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical activities.
What You Will Do As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational, and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan.
Qualifications
Fire and passion for working with seniors
Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred
Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area. Must be licensed or registered either nationally or by the State in which practicing
Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
Previous experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, with at least one full‑time resident activities program in a health care setting
Professional image in both appearance and behavior
Excellent written and oral communication skills
