Job Overview
The Bioinformatics Associate will perform bioinformatics data analysis to support therapeutic program decisions. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance the use of large-scale biological data and contribute to scientific innovation. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in scientific, computational, and statistical disciplines, with the ability to deliver impactful results. Flexibility, independence, and enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration are key to success in this role. Responsibilities
Assist data scientists and data engineers in curating and ingesting omics datasets by proposing modern data models and building ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to maintain data integrity and consistency. Support the development and automation of data processing pipelines for laboratory and omics data, including NGS, proteomics, and spatial transcriptomics datasets. Implement analytical workflows to support early drug target identification and evaluation. Clearly communicate scientific results and conclusions. Proactively update key stakeholders and supervisors on project activities and progress. Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Data Science, or a related field with 2–3 years of relevant post-graduate experience in drug discovery or translational research; or Master’s degree in a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in analyzing bulk and single-cell transcriptomics, proteomics, and other omics datasets. Hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL databases, and GitHub. Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling challenges in drug R&D. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications
Background in Neuroscience. Experience with AI/ML methods or large language models (LLMs). Authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. What to Expect in the Hiring Process
