Key Responsibilities

Complete all fittings and alterations to the high standards of David’s Bridal.

Exemplify friendly, knowledgeable, and technical expertise while providing superior customer service.

Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five‑star experience.

Maintain operational checklist tasks and meet customers’ emotional and practical needs.

Proactively address customer concerns, escalating to leadership when necessary.

Promote alteration services and personalization options, working closely with stylists and sellers.

Assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization.

Maintain store standards, high dress code compliance, and a clean alterations room.

Inspect all altered garments for quality control before final delivery.

Manage all alteration processes—fittings, sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning—to company standards.

Support cash‑wrap processes and accurately handle transactions.

Perform any other duties assigned by store management.

Essential Job Functions

Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, adapting style to suit customer needs.

Maintain all service levels by being prepared, welcoming, and meeting the needs of all customers.

Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information.

Build long‑term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Maintain inventory management, processing special orders and pickups with quality standards.

Ensure alteration pricing aligns with company standards.

Resolve customer service issues swiftly and effectively according to company guidelines.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, sit, reach, lift up to 10 pounds, & kneel, crawl, and perform basic manual dexterity tasks.

Use POS terminals, computers, and phones for extended periods.

See clearly at close and far distances and rely on peripheral vision.

Education & Credentials

High school diploma or equivalent.

1–2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store.

Prior sewing experience required, preferably in bridal production.

Experience with computerized POS systems is a plus.

Compensation The starting hourly rate for this role is $17–$21 per hour, varying by location, training, experience, and internal equity. This range is specific to the state in which the position is posted.
