Overview
Senior Director, Global Corporate Partnerships — Global Citizen is the world’s largest movement to end extreme poverty. The role leads a portfolio of flagship partnerships with major global brands and oversees events, broadcasts, co-branded action journeys, digital, marketing, employee engagement, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate delivers complex, cross-functional initiatives with senior-level partner executives and works with internal teams to ensure value and measurable impact. Travel as needed (estimated 10%). Responsibilities
Lead a portfolio of flagship global corporate partnerships, overseeing strategy, delivery, and growth. Partner with brands to co-create ideas and campaigns that connect their purpose to Global Citizen’s mission through storytelling, digital engagement, and live moments. Oversee integration of partners across Global Citizen’s event portfolio (including Global Citizen Festival, Global Citizen NOW, Move Afrika, and regional campaigns) to ensure cohesive brand presence and measurable impact. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with partner executives, providing strategic counsel and leadership. Develop and manage annual partnership plans, timelines, and budgets. Oversee impact measurement and reporting across social, business, and cultural outcomes. Represent Global Citizen at external events, summits, and executive partner meetings. Travel domestically and internationally as needed to advance partnership objectives (estimated 10%). Strategic Oversight
Collaborate with the Vice President of Global Corporate Partnerships and senior leadership to refine and execute Global Citizen’s corporate partnership strategy. Partner cross-functionally with Policy, Marketing, Digital, PR, Talent, and Production to ensure high-impact delivery. Develop and refine internal systems and tools to drive operational efficiency and partnership excellence. Contribute to new business and renewal strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. Represent Global Citizen as a visible ambassador at major global gatherings, championing private-sector collaboration. Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience managing major brand or corporate partnerships within the agency, entertainment, nonprofit, or corporate sectors. Proven track record of developing, growing, and renewing high-value partnerships with global brands. Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Strong understanding of marketing, digital engagement, and CSR/ESG integration. Skills & Attributes
Strategic thinker with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Inspiring storyteller who translates business and social objectives into campaigns. Deep understanding of creative, digital, and experiential strategy. Highly organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented. Proficient in stakeholder management across senior internal and external audiences. Proficiency in Google Suite, Asana, Airtable, Slack, and Keynote. Passionate about leveraging partnership for global impact and systemic change.
