Overview
The Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital/Bristol-Myers Squibb Children\'s Hospital
is seeking full-time and per-diem physicians. RWJ Hospital and BMSCH are located in New Brunswick, NJ, and offer a level 1 trauma center (level 2 pediatric trauma center). Pediatric Emergency Medicine services are staffed 24 hours a day by board-certified/eligible, fellowship-trained PEM physicians. The department handles approximately 25,000 patient visits per year from the diverse communities of the surrounding areas of New Jersey. All faculty have various academic responsibilities including bedside teaching of residents and participation in affiliated medical school activities. The environment within the department of pediatrics is collegial, with direct contact with attending subspecialists and hospitalists. Responsibilities
